Join us for this gentle, customized fall cleanse based on Ayurvedic principles. Balance the fast, hot energy of summer through diet, movement practices, and daily body work like massage and oiling. In this retreat, we will encourage grounding in the body and spirit as we prepare for fall and winter. Into this space, we will pour healing meals and practices to support your physical and mental thriving.

 

 

 

Daily offerings will include:

  • 1.5 hour sessions of Ayurvedic Body Therapy (3 total) including a customized combination of massage, body oiling, steam, etc. that respects your unique constitution and the changing rhythms of nature.
  • Teaching sessions on each dosha, food, and lifestyle
  • Movement classes with yoga and somatic work, including therapeutic postures
  • Meals designed to help rest your digestive system (see below for more information)
  • Access to all of Limina’s amenities, including sauna, biomat, and walking trails

Additional meditation, sound healing, and breath work classes may also be offered throughout the retreat.

 

 

Cleansing Diet

All of the vegetarian meals are designed to help your digestive system rest and release accumulated toxins.  Our protein will come from ancient grains like quinoa and the super-food kitchari, which is a combination of rice and mung beans (dal). We will also eat nourishing soups and cooked fruits and vegetables throughout the retreat. While spice combinations may vary, our diet is intentionally simple.
Please note that while we will take food allergies into consideration, we cannot accommodate eating preferences on this retreat. If you have any questions about the diet, please email the retreat leader.
