Fall Helping Professionals Stay
With Jokei Molly Delight Whitehead
October 24 - 28, 2025
“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes – including you.” ~ Anne Lamott
This fall, take time for yourself to experience some rest and renewal on the coast of Maine. Several times each year, Limina offers retreats at reduced rates for first responders, caregivers, day care providers, teachers and other school staff, health care workers, therapists, social workers, chaplains, and employees of various religious institutions to experience rest and renewal. The time is unstructured to allow guests to craft the retreats that they need.

As the “golden hour” of our year, autumn is the perfect season to turn our light inward, in the phrase of Soto Zen founder Eihei Dogen. Join us for four days of rest and renewal, giving ourselves and each other the priceless gifts of quiet and slow time in Limina’s beautiful and restorative setting.
“Silence is something more than just a pause; it is that enchanted place where space is cleared and time is stayed and the horizon itself expands.” Pico Iyer
Special guest meditation teacher Molly Delight Whitehead will offer meditation guidance and daily meditations. The sacred container we create together will let our “monkey minds” settle and rest, so we can be open to and present with whatever arises in our spaciousness.
