Jokei Molly Delight Whitehead

Jokei Molly has practiced Zen for 25 years, first at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center in California and then at Sanshin Zen Community in Indiana, among other practice places.

She was ordained a Zen priest by Shohaku Okumura, a disciple of Kosho Uchiyama and a well-known translator of Eihei Dogen’s writings. Jokei Molly worked with Okumura Roshi on several of his books about Zen and edited The Zen Teaching of Homeless Kodo.
